LAWN GRUB

If you find your lawn afflicted with the curse of the lawn grubs don’t despair.

Treating and eradicating these pests is relatively easy. Lawn grubs can also be known as armyworms or sod webworms and despite their name they all can cause a lot of damage to your turf in a relatively short amount of time, in fact, lawn grubs can feed on 30cms of lawn each and every night. You will need to be particularly vigilant as the weather warms up, usually September to March, and after heavy rain.

The good news is that lawn grubs and lawn armyworms are easy to control.

A couple of products available from your local hardware store will treat these pests, they products are cost-effective broad-spectrum insecticides that are used to control lawn armyworm, African black beetle and a variety of other grubs & beetles in lawn and garden situations.
